Hi there can someone PLEASE help me?

I have been using the Squery block on my site to show info on the servers we run ie, map whos playing etc and its been working great. Then the other week my web site host moved my site to another server (which gave me a different ip) as they were having problems with the old 1. Now the server block dosen't always work. In fact its down more than its up!! It seems to be reading the config.php file as it shows up the messages, but when its supposed to show details of the server all I get is:

Error No reply received
We were unable to contact the server you requested, it is most likely Offline

Now I know both my servers are working as we have tried them. I have deleted everything to do with the Squery block and reinstalled it time and again, but no joy, it won't always show my server details. I also went to there site [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] but all I get is:

This domain name expired on the 10/01/05 and is pending renewal or deletion!!!

I have also been onto my sites host who assure me everything was transferred over (everything else does work)
Has anyone else had the same problem, or do you know whats going on and how do I fix it?

What game you need the block for?

I currently play battlefield 2 and Call of Duty United Offensive. I had both of them showing, but after a while they disappeared!!

I know of a great block and module for bf2 that may work better. But, a friend of mine was running some blocks for bf2, ravenshield and IL2. His blocks just one day stopped working and his host claimed nothing was changed. But, installing all the blocks on my site, they worked fine. In the end, he had to switch hosts to get his blocks working again. We never could figure out why this happened. I can test them for you, to see if its a host issue. Just let me know.

I just went through this same issue...I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. Turns out it's my web host, they have certain ports closed for security reasons (so they claim) I was like WTH? they refused to open the ports needed for the query tool to work. I'm no longer running a clan site so this doesn't bother me that much now, but if I were still running a clan site I would defiantly be web host shopping.

Tendency, I would appreciate it if you would look at the block for me when you have a chance please, also i'd like to check out the block you mentioned if you don't mind.

I too am beginning to think my host has disabled certain ports making the block un useable. I mailed them but not had a reply. It might be a good idea as echo says and do a spot of shopping!

I put that block you sent me up on my site....works fine. I guess you should find another host.

Just been on you're site, yeah its working!!!

It does look like i'm goin to have to look elsewhere I need that block (or the 1 you use)
