Can this CZ_Forum_Scroll work as a center block instead of on the side? Is there anywhere I can see this as a demo?

Anyway...with the above file, the new member regist...mail goes out...they hit the confirm regist link....then get a blank page with "Error inserting user into group."
When going back to the main page resitration is completed etc, and are not added to the gruop.
Back to the drawing board lol

Edit: But they do get to see the invisible members forum come up in the scrolling block and in the forum index

Checked the tmp user and user tables to see what is happening there.
the user is still in the tmp user but also added to the user table? this has not happened before
Where in the tables does the info as to what group(s) a user belongs to?

Edit again: found it bbuser group no the new user has not been listed in the bb user group table a db search on the user id # only shows in user tmp and user tables as mentioned above

Ok try this one...

All the anomolies mentioned above are gone
The new member is listed in the members group ok (forumscp)
once actibated the entery now rwmoves from user tnp table to users ok (tmp table mt)

When new user goes into forum index he can see the hidden members section ok

It still shows in the block ok (as before)for me and other older members already in the group members
BUT the scrolling forum block is not showing a new post for the new user.

Compare the two members and see what is differant. The block isnt going to show to some of them and not to show to others.

OK give me a couple days..working long hrs at the moment, when I get hone I hust put my head into 'blank; mode lol

user , group tables? Dont worry reasiest way is just eun a db search on each and look lol will get back and let u know.

What if a sql commard was run every so often to add the info to the tables?
This wouls also be handy for ppl who install the block, have a heap of members to add to the group and dont need to add them all manually.
If its done thru a sql commarnd...emails would not be sent out for each user addition as happens when done thru the CP manually. right?
