Okay, this morning I tried to post a story. I have two stories alread but that was from the old version of PHP Nuke that my webhost provided for me. I do not know what version it was.
I typed in the Title, selected the topic and checked Associated Topics, did the story text Publish in Home was clicked for Yes, Did a Story text and put the rest in the extended text, First time I preview the story it was okay, then I clicked for it to post. When I went to the home page to view it, it wasn't there. When I clicked on Admin. Panel and it shows you the articles that is on display it wasn't there either. I tried this many times and the end results were the same. I even tried programming it and it still didn't work.

What would be causeing this problem?

1.The old version? How did you update phpnuke?

2.A link to the website might help.

3.Does anything else not work?

1.The old version? 6.0 How did you update phpnuke? Using WS_ftp Pro, transfer the files over.

2.A link to the website might help.? [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

The forums are not working either. It is saying:
phpBB : Critical Error

Error creating new session

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'session_admin' in 'field list'

INSERT INTO nuke_bbsessions (session_id, session_user_id, session_start, session_time, session_ip, session_page, session_logged_in, session_admin) VALUES ('8e5018248371b78de3352e30b659d561', '202', '1148089226', '1148089226', '18b2d6c4', '0', '1', '0')

Line : 203
File : sessions.php

I also installed the 7.8 security fixes as well. The version of PHP Nuke 7.8 is version 2.3.1-rc1
It had all the upgrades in it.

I donot know much about php nuke, actually I d onot know anything about php nuke.

It looks like you didn't update your database with the new tables. Did you make any database updates? This would be a nuke.sql file most likely.

Did you get any errors when you updated the database? The reason I ask this is because I don't think the that .sql file would update the database it would just say error table exsist. I'm not much on udpating nuke versions, I always start from a fresh install. It just seems easier to me. This may need the help of a professional.
