Hello,

I am having the hardest time in the world trying to put a flash movie in my Top News/Message area on my phpnuke. For some reason everything I click on the HTML button and go to put in the code after I submit it, it then disappears and nothing shows up on the mainpage. Has anyone had this problem and know how to solve it?

php nuke is located at uwfmichigan.com/site

Thanks guys.

The problem is your WYSIWYG editor I believe, if your html friendly you can just turn it off all together. Which is what I did, but there are many other opitons.

The problem occurs basically because the editor removes needed characters from the code. I have never tried adding flash to a new article, but I guess it can be done.

Here is one link, giving you a few options. [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

To disable the editor altogether, simply add the following to your config or to the top of includes/javascript.php
define("NO_EDITOR", "true");
