Hello Telli,

I'm new to codezwiz.com and I think you have a great site here, its full of resources and helpful staff and downloads bravo to you and your staff..

Now i seen a post over at nukecops about switching the advertising module to clicks instead of impressions...?

I too am interested in this, as impressions don't mean much when talking to clients too many are confused..

So i did some digging and I see the banners settings are controlled in the admin/modules/banners.php and the client side is banners.php in the root directory with config.php..

My question to you telli is how and what do I need to change this too to accomplish clicks instead of impressions..?

I appreciate any help you can provide

ok can anyone help with this, i see it already counts how many clicks, so it must be possilbe to set it to clicks instead of impressions purchased..?

You would have to do the math.

if ($usersclicks >= $maxclicks) {
they are at max clicks lets do something here...
}

It's nice to finally meet..and thank you for the reply however I'm a total newb when it comes to PHP..I basicly fumble around like a drunk clown

..lol

How and we're do I need to make the modifications to achieve my goals..I appoligize in advance for my ingorance of not understanding php..we newb's must be a pain in the arse for guys like you..

Attach the files that go with the module If I have some time I'll take a look.

I hope i do this right, I have attached all the files associated with the banners module, and I really really really appreciate your time telli..

I even atached the banners.php from the root directory.. I hope this is all you needed.. I wasnt totaly sure but if i missed a file just let me know..

Like i stated im a newb to this php, and I appreciate all your help..

Yes the whole site is having problems since we changed servers. I havnt had any time to look into the module yet.

Ohh that explains the error's I had to do this myself awhile ago and what a pain that was -- I sympathize with you telli..

Moving a site from one server to another is very time consuming for sure..

No rush really telli, I just appreciate you taking the time to help me and others here at codezwiz.com..
