installed phpnuke using:
Powered by phpBB 2.0.8 © 2001-2003 phpBB Group
phpBB port v2.0.7 based on Tom Nitzschner's phpbb port 2.0.6 upgraded to phpBB 2.0.7 standalone.
Ported and tested by:
Nuke Cops

as far as nuke version I believe nuke 7.3,,,it was a clean install..I had 7.8 to start of with, but found it buggy after I installed 7.3 it worked fine...so I tried to patch 7.3 (and I think I did icon_smile.gif....so I might be using 7.3 or 7.8....I dont even know where to look for current version of nuke

this is my first bb in nuke bb, it seems my forums are buggy, only when it comes to giving permisions, not the themes, bug presists I can make people site admin but cant give them mod

If it was me I would start over icon_biggrin.gif

Try [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] I really have enjoyed his distro. Its based on 7.6 with sentinel added. Its also pre-patched with chatserv 3.1 and much more. He also gives excellent support for it if needed.

Here is the actual download link for the distro. [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

Ravens is a nice package for sure. If you are intent on keeping what you have, run this script to check which version(s) of Nuke and phpBB forums you are running: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

To fix that error go here: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] or here: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and search for: admin_ug_auth.php and locate: Private forum permissions fix 1 and simply follow instructions.

If you decide to keep the Nuke version you have now you should at least patch it with chatservs PHP-Nuke Patched Series found here: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and update your forums to the newest secure version which is: phpBB 2.0.21. All the upgrade phpBB forums files can be found at the above website. Remember to always backup all original files involved before editing/overwriting. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
