Anyone seen a working, bug free mod like this for PHP Nuke / BBtoNuke? For anyone who may not know, it works like this.

You have a master account, and a control panel for it where you can add your other usernames and password to it. This would allow you to quickly change usernames no matter what page you were on in the forums without having to log out and then log back in, and then navigate back to where you want to reply or whatever you were doing. 1 action instead of many. :/ Anyone?

I have never seen such a mod for bbtonuke or phpbb standalone. I am sorry I don't know the answer, but I didn't just wanna leave you hanging.

Be sure to search the usuals mod sites for php as most are easily converted to bbtonuke

A google search for "phpbb mods" will give you a few sites to start checking.

You know, I feel like a complete moron. I found a phpbb hack for this a few years ago, and obviously forgot about it. Well, now that I've found it again, I remember why I didn't keep it. It doesn't work with bbtonuke. I've played with it for a while but can't seem to get it to work, if anyone would be willing to take a look at it and maybe figure out whats wrong and/or fix it to work with bbtonuke I would be grateful beyond belief, maybe even make a few donations. In the meantime I'll keep tinkering with it, maybe I'll stumble onto making it work. :/

No not yet, just accidently double posted if thats what you thought by my 'delete me'comment. I really want this feature, so, I'll continue to fight with it until I get it figured out or find someone who can.

I will play with it and see what can be done.

Errrm.. That might be a little above my pay grade. A few things in the install txt look wrong, but I am not sure how to correct them.

I would like to see a working copy even if standalone phpbb.

Well according to the install docs, it uses login.php and to my knowledge with my bbtonuke .21 install login.php doesn't work, complains about the _users table. But, according to the install docs its been successfully tested with a standalone .17 install of phpbb2. :/ I hope someone can straighten it out.

UPDATE

I'm on the verge of giving up. I've lost my temper, nearly busted my laptop and spent an entire saturday without a break on this thing and have yet to make it work. I think its over my head. I've bitten off more than I can chew.
