I have installed php-nuke and to my knowledge I have made the changes I need to for it to work properly. When I use windows Internet explorer though the website will not show up. Now if I use Firefox and Netscape the website will show up. Is the a code that could possibly be messed up in php-nuke? As for my second question I can not get to my admin login screen all it tells me is access denied. I have changed the name in the config.php to what I want and I have changed it back to default and it does not work either way. The website is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] I have left the default php-nuke as the homepage for now until I can get these problems fixed properly before I start changing anything. I am new to php-nuke and with coding so any help would be greatly appreciated sorry if this has been asked about before. I used the search but found nothing that I saw relating to this. One other note I contacted godaddy and asked them but they told me the site is communicating properly but they do see what I am talking about and they can not help me with it.

Thanks in advance
Wolfgar

All I see on your site is the banner ad from GoDaddy and some php code. That may be the cause of your problem. From what I read on their site, you cannot remove the banner ad if you are using their free hosting.

Check your set up and configuration again. If you're sure everything is correct, contact GoDaddy again. You may need to go with a hosting plan other than the free one.

Well I contacted godaddy again and they said the hosting plan I changed to indeed supports php. I have uninstalled and cleared the sql tables and reinstalled from scratch and still get the same problem. I am thinking I am missing something due to my lack of experience unfortunately. What I dont understand is it works with firefox and it works with netscape. As far as not being able to get to my admin login screen that is still messed up also. I did read that I am supposed to be able to set up a SUPER USER but was never given that option to this point.

I tried to set up nuke on go daddy once. I neve had any luck. Since your install is fresh lets try a different distro and see if the problem persist.

Try raven's distro it functions very well and has lots of support for problems.

I hope I am not going to become a bother, but I have a question. I downloaded the file you linked and am about to install it, I just want to make sure I am supposed to install the enitre folder to the same directory as php-nuke correct?

That is phpnuke, you should delete your old installation and start over to use the file I linked.

Well I installed it and loaded the 3 sql files to the database and this is what I get.
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/1.3.33 Server at filorux.net Port 80

Ravennuke says this
Install RavenNuke76™ Tables To The Database
From your browser, type in [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] (add the /html if you loaded it into a sub-folder) and press GO or the ENTER key. You should receive an error message to the effect of:

There seems to be a problem with the $dbtype server - Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please report this to the Administrator ASAP.

We should be back shortly.

That IS what you should see at this point. If you do not, then something has gone wrong. Retrace your steps and try again until your receive that message.

I assume after I get that message this will be my next step

From your browser, type in [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and select GO or press the ENTER key. You will be directed to a new Installation script that I have especially written for this application. It is fully documented so I will not repeat anything here. Here is what the screen looks like after a successful Install. Please note that your Step4 might look like this, if you had to load the NukeSentinel™ IP2COUNTRY table individually.

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
