I've installed the new RavenNuke distro 2.10 on a new host but I'm still having the same issue with forum posts not showing in blocks, except for the standard included forum post block that comes with RavenNuke.

I am having a similar problem. However, I can get one, post to show up in my scrolling block. I have another scrolling block from another developer that is working, but it shows everything. I want to restrict what shows in the list to the permissions the user has.

I read where this scrolling block does this...

Ok, I got the forum scroll block to work. However, it will only show posts of forums that are not 'Hidden'. In addition, it is showing post titles and authors of topics that are in private sections of the forums.

Is it possible to make it so that it doesn't show posts to users who are not allowed into the private part of the forums? Also, can it be modified to show posts to authorized users in hidden parts of the forums, but not to regular users?

Hope you understand what I mean... icon_eek.gif

The block does not show hidden Forums unless the user is supposed to see it. The block does not show posts that the user viewing it does not have permission to view. It works off of the phpBB group system( just like your Forums). If you want to change it then you will have to edit the block.
