Ive been trying to learn how to work with PHP and recently got a site posted through SiteGround.com and when I was in the control panel I noticed that it said my forum portion was out of date so I did an upgrade as per the instructions I found on the internet. The problem I have now is that when you click on the "forum" link on the site it takes you to a Page Cannot Be Displayed. From the admin section of the page when I click on the button for forum administration I get the following error:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'ravenson_phpb1.phpbb1_config' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM phpbb1_config

Line : 215
File : common.php

Now this is probably something that I totally messed up from doing the install so a work around for it was to create a new module titled "forums" that fully functions but takes you to another page and doesnt display from the main page. In doing this upgrade it also messed up Messages from the individual users accounts and if you click the button it will display the following error:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'ravenson_phpb1.phpbb1_config' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM phpbb1_config

Line : 215
File : common.php

Is there a file that I should edit to make the correct forum work again or do you think I would be better off just wiping everything off and starting over with a new install of everything? The webiste is as follows: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

I made both forum options active in the menu so that you can see the errors and would appreciate any help. I dont mind the fact that I made a separate module so that I can have the forum section functioning but I would like it to display on the main page as the original forum did. Thanks.

The upgrade you did was for phpBB forums not for phpBBtoNuke forums. Best bet is to grab a fresh copy of the Nuke version your using and start over. If you want to do an upgrade of your Forums after that then look for phpBBtoNuke forum upgrades not phpBB upgrades. If you don't understand feel free to post again.
