Does anyone know how to set up something to only allow so many maximum simultaneous downloads at once? Using Enhanced Downloads module and nuke platinum 7.6.

I am not sure I understand the question completly. You want to only allow so many files to be downloaded at once? Is this for a mirror type download? Or do you mean you want to restrict how many files people can download per user?

Yeah, I want to only allow so many files to be downloaded at once. Say theres 500 registered people on the site wanting to download files all at once. I would like to limit it so that say only about 50 of them can download at once, and the rest be placed in queue or something. That way it don't lag the server down etc... Thanks for the help.

Downloading files isnt going to lag down the server. You could have 5000+ simultaneous downloads running and the only thing it will hinder will be the bandwidth.

As far as making something to queue downloads I don't think it would be worth the time or money unless your site is actually going offline because of so many connections.

Yeah, I didn't figure anything like that was already out for nuke. I did find a script for nuke that was supposed to limit the amount of downloads a user can get per day/week, but it didn't seem to count right lol... Thanks for the replies though.
