Hey I have a site that I use and I would like the buttons I have to be stationary on every page. Is there a way to do this so they will not refresh each time. Right Now I have them in a Iframe. linking 2 sites together the buttons on one and the link on the other.. but it refreshes unless I have the link in the page that the button connects.. that probably makes no sense. But basically I want to have the buttons stay.. and the right side of the iframe refresh not the buttons. This is not a league site. Just a personal help site. If you would like the link email me. Dont want to post it here yet. I could really use the help.

Booper.

If I understood your problem correctly you can just use frames. Place the buttons in a left frame and only have the right side refresh each time the links are clicked. Much like the way this page is set up

If this is not what you want to achieve, please repost with a little bit more info.

Hey I think I know what you mean. I have made a gaming applet and my local tennis club site which I think is wot u mean. [ Register or login to view links on this board.] , [ Register or login to view links on this board.] They both run off the same principle. All I did was iframe the main page , give the iframe a name, and then give the links target value, which was the name of the iframe. Hence, the links pages would open up in the iframe and the left/rest of site would stay the same.

If so all you do is make your iframe code with name value in:
<iframe src="yourmainpage" height="?" width="?" name="theiframenamehere"></iframe>

Then in your links you add the name code in as a "target" value, like this:
<a href="youpage" target="theiframenamehere">Link1</a>

Hope that helps dude.

Oh Yea you two both have the idea I am looking for... I have it currently iframed.. but when I click a button it goes to the page replacing the button.. so on all the links connected to the buttons I made iframes.. so it refreshing the buttons too... If that makes sense.. I will try iframing with the codes you gave me and see if that helps..

Thanks for advice,
Booper

YOU WOULD HAVE TO USE A FRAME LIKE CASES AND THEN SET UP YOUR LINKS WITH A SOURCE LIKE "MAIN" OR "BLANK" I BELIEVE BOTH OF THESE WOULD DO WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR
