hey telli, i had some questions for phpnuke, i am trying to set my new site up with phpnuke, but have some questions pop up in my head, does phpnuke give you codes to work from? or make it yourself? does phpnuke give u all the scripts for the php, and if it does, do u need a specific program to open the php files in winzip?

Telli i hope you can help me out which i know u can lol, and if you cant reach me ill appreciate any of the admins who work here to help me and i thank you all

Php Nuke is the engine core it runs the whole cms. I use PHP as the base and have added many of languages into it. Its a great cms the best way to learn is to set up some test sites and go at it.

yea i am trying to run some test sites, but im having some problems with adding borders around the button and the text, its my example site, if u can spot the problem, ill appreciate it telli

best way to achieve the look you want is doing it with images and CMS is Content Management System

also, the best way to learn nuke is to get a nuke site and practice with it

thx taut, but when i was checking out some nuke sites, there were no codes in the winzip, just images, if the codes r there, im fine, bc im great with html, but stuck with php lol

codes in the winzip? you mean when you dl the files? they are there in different places....not in just one. different files and folders have diff php codes.

p.s. the border around the tables you have is also done thru html and tables

yea, but there are php files in the downloaded i downloaded, but i cant open php, i dont know nothing about php, so is there a program for me to download to open the php files and understand what each mean or how they suppose to look like??

no prob with the questions, that's what we are here for but don't mix up php with php nuke. if you want to learn php , there are many sites that you could read up on.

as for the download of php....where did you dl it? if it was here then that is nuke which would require you to have a web host that allows php. does your web host allow it?

Hey taut, thanks so much i owe u a million!!! lol uhh i downloaded it from [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and i downloaded it here 2, i dont got a web server that allows php yet bc i am trying to figure this out without it yet, doing brainstorm, do i gotta have one that allows it to try and make it work? if yes ill get one right away to start learning it
