Does anyone know of a hack or script that would notify the admin of a Waiting Link for review in the WebLinks module? Similar to the email notification sent to the admin when a user leaves a news article for review?

attached.... I would like it to notify the aqdmin's email when a new link has arrived in the queue waiting review...

Actually i would need the Web_Links/iudex.php not the admin file.

I loaded it and there must still reamin a minor adjustment. I used Beyond Compare2 to see what you did and might need to study it more.

In testing it I did not get an email sent to my admin address. I wonder if this is because I am originating the request and may be a bogus way of testing? If you want to add the link to your site there as a way to test here is the link...

The Waiting Links increments in the admin block but the email is not sent. I have not played around with it yet but it looks as though it should work as I think I understand what you were doing with the code addition you added to the file. Thanks for taking an interest in this. I travel alot on business and having notifications in my email helps remind me to get on the site an process stuff....

Nope... I see you added a link on my site.... but never received an eMail that is was waiting there to be activated...

I have not had time to really dig into this.... one questions. Does the $msg need to be added to the global statement ? Could there be something else I need to configure with the mail function somewhere? I am not getting any errors so the coding is fine and I see where you put it, right after the SQL insertion which would make sense, but no mail. What I can do is take a close look at where in the News Submit code the eMail is called and see if I can spot something. The code you added at least helps me to find what to look for in the other modules to make a comparision.

I don't want to take up more of your time until I have had a chance to troubleshoot it myself a bit.....

a few buck in the hopper.....

Still can't find the info on how to add the notification in the form posts when someone contributes to the donator module ? The same little blue ball icon and statement "Codewis Site Donator" that appears under the user Avatar in the User Info block. I have the Code Wiz Donator block loaded and running fine. Just was wondering about the code to make users that have donated more visible to other members...
