Hi Gang,

I have a big problem. My page at [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] has some pop-up java camera images etc on the main news panel (go look and you'll see what I mean)

It all works perfectly ;-)

When I upgrade to the newest version of phpnuke which doesnt have the built-in editor all of my code in these panels vanishes and I can't add the popup/java etc back into my site.

Am I missing something really obvious here ? I've been searching for weeks to find a solution and it's driving me mad now.

I've attached the code from the offending item - this gets completely ruined if I upgrade phpnuke to the newest version.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Bub.

AFter you do your upgrade you need to add these lines back into your site:

<!-- popup -->
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="includes/ddjava/popup.js"></script>
<!-- /popup --><!-- popup -->
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="includes/ddjava/nrc.js"></script>
<!-- /popup -->

The javascript function your using for the images needs it.

The 7.9 version seems very difficult with regard to editing and posting news items with anything other than plain text as content.

Is there a way in which the admin can still use some sort of editor ?

I cant see any way of doing this but it's very difficult without such a facility.

Thanks.

I believe it has an editor installed. Do you mean as far as adding html tags and script tags?
