My question is where in the style.css or forums.css is the color for the text on the forum index and many other pages. (ie: Forum, Topics, Posts, Last Post) Yes I am a css noob. icon_razz.gif

If you view my page especially in firefox you will see the problem, I am trying to resolve.

see that is kinda the problem I don't know the name of that text or the color. What I can tell you is that its the text on the forum index. That says "Forums" "Topics" "Post" "Last Post". I hope this helps I know its hard to understand.

in forum.css find this:

/* Table Header cells */
th{background:#828282;color:#000000;font-size:11px;

replace the color hex code you want it changed to.

/* Table Header cells */
th{background:#828282;color:#HEX CODE HERE;font-size:11px;

hmmm... thanks for the reply. That seem to have no effect. I just might try the default .css files and slowly changing them, unless you have another suggestion. I hate to waste your time on such a petty issue.

I just don't see how I could mess this up but its possible I guess. Here is my code,

/* Table Header cells */
th{ background:#828282; color:#000096; font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; height:27px; white-space:nowrap; text-align:center; padding-left:8px; padding-right:8px; border-color: #ffffff #000000 #000000 #ffffff; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px; }

I even tried just using your code all short and sweet. It still gave no result.

I even tried the default .css documents from the cz_stratagen.zip and It still doesn't change. I have never kinda noobed anything. I am a 110% kinda of guy, haha.

I figured it out. Found the same line of text in the strangest place. In the overall_header.tpl you will find the same line.

/* Table Header cells */
th{background:828282;color:#000096;font-size:11px;
font-weight:bold;height:27px;white-space:nowrap;text-align:center;padding-left:8px;padding-right:8px;BORDER-TOP: #FFFFFF 1px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #000096 1px solid; BORDER-LEFT: #FFFFFF 1px solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #000096 1px solid;}

I was in there editing my menu for forums and noticed that many weeks ago. I had edited many colors in there, and also my forums.css. Anyway you got me on the right track taut.

Thanks
