hi folks. while my main site goes about its day-to-day usage I decide to add a new installation of phpNuke on my computer locally in order to experiment and test mods without downtime or compromise of my main web site.

I followed the instruction that came with the version of nuke I'm using (7.icon_cool.gif. I have easyPhP installed and the database created. I modified the config.php file.

When I went to test it, the site comes up but with the following two notices:

Notice: ob_end_clean(): failed to delete buffer. No buffer to delete. in d:\program files 2\easyphp1-8\www\html\mainfile.php on line 43

Notice: import_request_variables(): No prefix specified - possible security hazard in d:\program files 2\easyphp1-8\www\html\mainfile.php on line 64

When I accessed the admin.php page I get the two notices above and this third one:

Notice: Undefined variable: aid in d:\program files 2\easyphp1-8\www\html\everso.php on line 16 note: everso.php is my admin.php

also, I am unable to actually access anything within the site. As an admin everytime I click on a module I can asked to re-login.

If I log in as a regular user I get a white screen with the first two notices displayed.

Is there someone out there familiar with local installations and easyPhP? or anyone that recognizes the notices I'm getting?

Hello Fire.

I myself have PHP-Nuke running locally, and had some trouble getting it up and going. Is easyPhP your PHP engine? That's what's installed on your system to parse PHP code, right? I'm not familiar with easyPhP, so I don't know how I can help. But. Do you have an HTTP server installed on your comp? I assume so, since you're obviously getting a log-in box. Is it Apache?

I don't knwo what all you've got set up and what-not, but I've got a flawless installation guide for PHP 5.1.4, MySQL, and Apache 2.2.2. I used it to get Nuke up and running perfectly. Let me know if you'd like it.
