Hi i changed my theme and now the page just keeps coming up blank so i guess the theme doesnt work now i have read the post about the theme fix but i dont understand it but i now that i have to put [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] but that doesnt seem to be fixing it for me so can you help plese thanks

1. First what you need to do is find a theme that "works" for your site.
2. If you have one, use that as the default theme name in the themefix code that is given in the instructions below.
3. Once you have uploaded the themefix code to your root, call it in your browser.

I have done it now but i thank you very much for ya help and time

I have a similar problem...I uploaded a new theme (bluemetal) and when I switched to it, it only had the background. I tried to do the themefix.php thing, but it is only loading the background for all the pages. How do you get the modules/blocks/everything else to appear? Thanks for any assistance.

Did you delete the bluemetal theme folder from the themes directory? Do you have DeepBlue in the themes directory?

I kept the bluemetal theme folder on my server and had to upload the deepblue theme (it wasnt there previously); so both themes are on my server currently...I dont know if I made some error in uploading or just need to do steps I was not aware of.

Did you upload the whole folder for the theme? ie; you have the DeepBlue theme folder and inside that are the themes files...you need to upload that whole folder into the themes directory. Sometimes the actual theme folder is in another folder and if you upload that way it will cause a problem like this. Make sure the DeepBlue theme is uploaded this way, then run that script again. Are you familar with phpMyAdmin? and working in the database?

The problem was in your themefix.php, you kept setting it to themes that were not complete. Here are some reasons it might of just been giving you just the background.

1. The full theme folder was not uploaded.
2. The theme was not built for the php-nuke CMS. (Content Management System)

I took it upon myself to delete the themes that are not functioning correctly.

I have the same problem... I paid for a template which is a php-nuke theme and each time I change the theme, my page comes up blank. U have to reupload the entire app all over again... can someone please help me? I have contacted the template people, my hosting company and have been working on this forever! Nothing seems to work.. I don't get it!
