This problem started happening out of nowhere. And I mean nowhere. No changes were made, yet I am having a problem with ANYWHERE there is a text area.

This problem started happening out of nowhere. And I mean nowhere. No changes were made, yet I am having a problem with ANYWHERE there is a textarea form. From messages, to content, to news articles. They all act the same way.

Here is what happens: Anytime you TYPE directly into the text area (with WYSIWYG ON or OFF, doesn't matter), you can type as long as you want. Hit submit, and it works.

HOWEVER, when you copy and paste from notepad or Word, into the text area, then hit submit, the page refreshes to the home page and NO changes are made.

Now, sometimes, depending on what I am copying from the outside source, it works, no matter the length. Other times, no. And I have tried everything, even removing any parenthesis or quotation marks.

Still no go. Surely someone has some kind of clue as to why this doesn't work. And the thing is, everything was working fine a week ago.

Please help!

Have you had anyone else try on their computer? It might be a setting that's gotten messed up in your browser on your computer.

Yep sure have. Four different machines actually. And I have tried it on TWO separate servers hosting phpNuke as well, separate installations. It is obviously a nuke bug, but I have no idea of a workaround. icon_sad.gif

Any ideas?

Have you made any changes to your site in the last week? Have you tried printing out the form input for debuging purposes?

Well, changes or not, the same problem happens on two different servers on two different installs of Nuke. One of them is on a completely fresh install as well.

As far as debugging. I am not really a debugger. lol. Can you give me a bit more insight as to what I should be doing with the form input? Or where I can see errors?

Thanks a bunch!

Find the form and echo the input before it gets to the form to see what the input looks like.
