Guests not showing on Online Counter

Think it's Nuke 7.8, forum version is 2.0.22

The link above is to my site's forums, which at the bottom has all the usual stats about the forum. Registered members, members online. However, the Guest counter has stayed at 0, and has never risen. Could anyone help me fix some code/script or setting somewhere as this would greatly help boost peoples opinion of the site, as currently we are seen as only having "10 users on at any one time" when we have approximately 50 users on the site, the majority guests.

The members online is working?

The code I believe is in the includes/page_header.php. Maybe you can attach that and we will see if we can find out whats going on.

Nuke uses two session tables one for the Forums and one for everything else. Maybe best to just change it to read from the Nuke one.

Go to your phpmyadmin and run this query:


SELECT u.username, u.user_id, u.user_allow_viewonline, u.user_level, s.session_logged_in, s.session_ip FROM nuke_users u, nuke_bbsessions s WHERE u.user_id = s.session_user_id ORDER BY u.username ASC, s.session_ip ASC;


Post back the results.

Tried the new sessions.php and:

- Guests still not shown when 170 where on.
- Once logged out, forums didn't recognise when you wer logged in
- Error when accessing forums:

phpBB : Critical Error

Couldn't start session : login

This is a hard issue to troubleshoot without being able to check several things as there actually happening. Would you mind PM'ing your FTP info and MYSQL info to me?

Also can you check the database table and see if it has the same information in it?
