I have a simple block with a few names in it as my test dummy. i have two arrows at the bottom of the block. one pointing up and the other pointing down. What i would like is that when you put your mouse over the arror pointing up, the scrolling content gets faster. and when you put it on the arrow pointing down. it reverses. I have everything in there, but when you put the mouse over the arrows, nothing happens. can you take a look and tell me how to get it working.

thanks

Looks like your missing some parts of it.

SBspeed=1-5

Maybe a javascript file or something?

Where did you get the information for this?

This line is incorrect:

<img src=http://www.asp-gamers.com/main/avitars/aspmm.jpg width='148' align='top' border=0</img>

Should be:

<img src='http://www.asp-gamers.com/main/avitars/aspmm.jpg' style='vertical-align: middle; width: 148px; border: 0;'>

Also the other image tags are missing there closing brace:

<img src=http://www.asp-gamers.com/main/cyber/images/Red1.gif

Clean up the HTML and then test it but Im pretty sure your missing something.

ok, i will try to clean it up. but why if it is incorrect does it display the pictures?

also, i got the scipt from a block called shoutbox.php . i do believe that you are correct in that it is javascript.

the code i am looking at is on line 622
I want the same thing for several blocks for my page. it seems so simple yet i burned an entire weekend trying to get it working with no luck. but that line of code you gave me above sbspeed=1-5 has raised my eyebrows.
but i do believe this is still behond me at this point in my php learning.
The shout box requires other things to make it work, but i have attached it so you can see the code i am trying to duplicate.
Thanks for you other info about the images. i am going to try and clean that up right now.
