I've tried to use this mod previously on my main site but no posts from the forums were displayed in the block, thus I stopped using it.

I have now started a fresh install of RavenNuke76 for testing puproses and tried the ScrollForumsV3 again... yet it still does not relay any posts from the forum into my main block.

Any help appreciated as I want to use this mod on my main live site.

I found a small booboo if your site relies on the $user_prefix.

Search and replace this line:

{$prefix}_users

with this line:

{$user_prefix}_users

I have also updated the download.

Ok so it is any Forum block you add to the main page.

Can you make a copy of your nuke_bbforums, nuke_bbposts, nuke_bbpost_text, nuke_bbtopics, nuke_users database tables. I dont need the data just the table structure.

I've just done a fresh install of the latest ravennuke76 distro on another computer, using triad2apache installer, updated BBtoNuke2022, latest sentinel. But again same problem here.. nothing in the forum relays to nuke.

It didnt relay to the advanced forums block, cz forum block or even to CZ News module.

Something different happened this time though... after installing CZ User Info, CZ News, CZ Module and then Forum Scroll I got a error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare parseemoticons() (previously declared in C:\apache2triad\htdocs\projecta\modules\CZNews\smileys.php:2) in C:\apache2triad\htdocs\projecta\blocks\smileys.php on line 2

I also have a blank page in my index. By removing the forum scroll block its back to normal.

yeah i found that you cant have 2 instances using the smileys.php

for example i know that the side advanced forums scroll block uses smileys.php and also CZNews uses smileys.php

to that end you can only use 1 or the other on your home page, the way i got round it was to turn off the forums part on CZNews and delete the smileys.php from CZNews.

Up to you though icon_rolleyes.gif

Thats a good idea. Thanks for the tip. icon_smile.gif

I just noticed the news module is a bit too big for my aviator theme. I think if I can remove the "@ W. Australia Standard Time" from the table it should just fit in without distorting the theme.

I found its the "$datetime" code that shows "Saturday, March 10 @ W. Australia Standard Time" I tried changing it to just "$date" but that didnt work :P
