Your going to have to learn about keys and how to trigger JavaScript based on what keys you are pressing.

Here is a good resource to start: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. Ezekiel 25:17

If you are talking of the ones like found on TTG, a great resource would be to execute a script on the document ready and then append a div element to the end of your body or main_table tag. Give it the css properties of "top : 50%" and "right : 50%". If I'm not mistaken, IPB already has jQuery 1.4 so all you would need to do is write up the jQuery execution script and put it in your <head>.

Here's a quick one I wrote up to where all you need to do is wait for the function to be called by your keystrokes:

$('document').ready(function(){

$('Inset your keystroke listening functions here').action(function(){

$('body').append({"<img src='your image src here' id='easter_egg' />"});

$('#easter_egg').css({"top" : "50%", "right" : "50%", "position" : "fixed"});

});

});

All you would need to do there is insert your keystroke listening script and what keys you would need to push to execute the script. Also remember to call the function when the keys are pressed or the script will never append the innerHTML into the end body tag.
