howdy all, im currnetly using telli's blackend theme on our php site, but there is one little item im looking for that i cannot find anywhere, and thats a "server stats" block. Our site is for a Medal of Honor clan. And i would like to be able to show the realtime stats of gameplay, i.e. current map, # of players on the server, Max # of players allowed, server ip, and a couple others. is this possible? and now time for a little derri�re kissin, you guys are awesome, this is the only site i have found where help and advice is bountiful. keep up the great work guys, and girls......lol, how was that?

this could be it, im gonna go download it now, and check it out. thank you echo, for pointing me in the right direction. i'll let ya know how it works.

ok, i uploaded the files to all the right places, with a few exceptions, that i am just not sure about. the read me file says to "Add gameservers.sql to your database" im just not sure where that goes. I have a folder that is called "db". But all the files within that folder have the PHP extension, not sql., i installed it there anyways

. The read me file also says, "Add your server's IP addresses in nuke admin" not to sure about that either, i didnt do anything there,

. After i did or did not do everything i said above, i created the block, or at least tried to. the site timed out , and i couldnt access anything related to my site. After about an hour and a half, i gained access to the control panel, i then deleted the "gameservers.sql" file, the site came back up right away. Needless to say i continued deleting. there is also a note in the read me file that says, "*Note: Debug is enabled by default. This means that when logged in
as Admin, you will see the full query returned by the server
this will sometimes cuase page formatting errors for admins
To disable this,
open /modules/GameServers/index.php and find
$GSdebug=1;
set that to 0 to disable debug mode

The admin portion of this modules 'shares' permissions with the Ephemerids
module if you need to create an admin for this module but don't want to create
a super user, just add an admin with Ephemerids permissions and they will
have access to this module too."

Can you guys help me out, i would really like this to work. I apoligize for such a long post, details, details.

Hey Red, I have used this module before without any problems...Do you know how to add that sql file to your MySQL database? Do you have a CPanel with your web package? The IP addy it ask for is the game servers IP and I think the port also...

Hey Echo, I do have a Cpanel with my web package, and no, i do not know how to add the sql. file. and i just dont know where to add the ip addy for the game server, which file do i add it in?, is it even a file im adding it into?. i really dont know. but i am going to check out the link you provided on the subject.

[ Register or login to view links on this board.] [ Register or login to view links on this board.] That's what you do with that sql file in your CPanel for your sql database. For the IP, you insert your game servers IP addy in the empty box under the game settings in your admin section,I think there is a spot for the game server port number also.

well, i add the sql to the database, the same way the examples show( i used example2), and for whatever reason the site times out. cant acces cpanel at all, right now. gonna keep trying though. i think i have to drop the gameservers sql. and try again. other then that everything seems cool............i guess

yeehaww, i got it to work, now if i could just use it as a block instead of a module, is that pssoible !! Thanks for the help Echo !!!
