Does any one know how, or if its done already, to make a dialog box (not pop up another browser window) pop up when a pm is recieved like it does in vbullientin. You get a windows dialog box stating you have a new message, you get two choices (buttons). "OK" opens the PM in a new windows, "Cancel" continues on.

Any thoughts.

Its built into phpbb you just have to activate it under your Forums profile.

Do you know what file its in by default, I am using a different theme and the pop up notification does not occur. If I could find the file, then I would try to put the code in the theme I am using.

You could paste this on the bottom of one of your blocks on your main page.
