Anyone know who these guys are and what they're into?

They tried to hack my site but only got the the index.html which then sends you to the mainframe, but it would explain why no new visitors have called in in the past lotta days! icon_evil.gif

Just wondering...

All security and patches were in place so I count myself lucky! But after a Google search I found 485 English sits with the same problems and some a lot worse! icon_twisted.gif

There a bunch of little kids running around trying to be cool by hacking sites. Just keep yourself upto date on fixes and add a good ip banner. icon_wink.gif

Yeah,

I'm running Protector, Fortress, and Raven's Script.

They only got my 1st page (an html redirect) so it was not too bad, it just meant new people couldn't get to the rest of the main site.

I'm nearly sure that the IP was a Brazilian one, but can't be 100% icon_rolleyes.gif

my site Has been hacked as well, Im new to this and i'll take it as a learning experiance, but I have no clue how to fix it.

All I see is a blank page?

It depends what the damage was, but hopefully you had a backup and everythibg should be fixable via that

It looks like they wrote over your index.php page just replace it with your backup index.php if you have one and check at [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] tos ee if you have the latest patches.

Also if you have a raw log file check it to see what person did this and ban them from your site. To avoid a re accurance.
