Hey all. I've asked this question on nukecops and someone there directed me to this site. He said that I could find a print topic modification, so that posts can be viewed on a printerfriendly screen.

For an example see [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

Problem is that I have not found it in the download section. I'm really hoping that that is my fault, and that it is there somewhere.

So can tell me where exactly I can find the mod, or am I out of luck and was that guy that directed me to here wrong?

Well, I've installed it and got it working, but it doesn't show the topic posters names.

And after a quick glance at the printview.php file, I see that it does ask for the user names in the sql database.

And I've found a bug in it: in the printview.php file, it asks for the bbcode.php file:

include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/bbcode.'.$phpEx);


But the link should be:

include($phpbb_root_path . '../../includes/bbcode.'.$phpEx);

Open the printview.php and change the :

include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/bbcode.'.$phpEx);


To:

include('includes/bbcode.php');


Find and change:

   $poster_id = $postrow[$i]['uid'];
   $poster = $postrow[$i]['uname'];


To:

   $poster_id = $postrow[$i]['user_id'];
   $poster = $postrow[$i]['username'];


The download was updated too.
