can someone help me i have been trying to set my forums so only the admin and mod can delete post or topics but for some reason it won't let anyone delete a post or topic

have you alreayd set the permission in admin cp?

forums>forum admin>permissions that's where you set each forum's permission

yes i have tried that when you go to the forums and click the delete bottum it says the topic has been edited and then it goes right back to the same page. it just won't delete

did this just recently happen to you? make sure your cookies and cache has been cleaned out, it could be that the page is cached in your system memory...bad cookie as they call it

will try and see this was the first time i tried to delete anything i will let you know.

also make sure you have set the permission in the forum admin cp, setting yourself as admin for all your forums boards

done that and still can't the only way i can is to delete one post at a time but i can't delete the topic unless i do that pruning and that is not how i wanted it set up
