Waaaaaaa, Hi again,

I am using th false return no right click code in my body tag to prevent copiers, only thing is people have been telling me that they can copy it, that they are getting a box that gives them the option to save the image, when they place their cursor over the image?? Wuts datttt????
Can that be stopped?? I don't get the box when I try all I get is the alt phrase that shows the name of the image or the phrase I added. I can't right click it or save it when I try but others say the can and showed me the copy of the image.
What is causing this? Anyone know and have a code to stop them .. Thanks...

i've checked your new site [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and it seems fine it wont let me right click but I use IE maybe the person who says he can is using a different browser.

The no-right-click works for me. However, that doesn't mean I couldn't get your images if I want them. All I'd have to do is go to View>Source at the top of my browser to view the source code then copy the image paths into another browser window. Like this:

There's no 100% sure way to keep people from stealing your images. Even if I couldn't get them from your source code, I'd still be able to take them with a graphics program by doing a screen capture. The only sure fire way to keep your images from being ripped off is to not put them on the web. It's sad, but true.

I agree with kelly a 100%!! There is NO way what so ever to fully protect graphics on the web.

The BOX you are speaking of is Internet Explorers image tool bar. There are to ways to disable it.

Either with a META tag that you put in the head of your document that will disable the image tool bar on all the images on your page...

Look I am a beginner but I know more than I did 2 years ago. I help every single person that comes to me. I don't mind them asking me for help but to lift my images and codes on spite is just not right, lol.
I will try your code god, thats. I also know you can get the images that way kelly, and that you can go to my image files too. The average person doesn't know that though. I recently blocked my page only because a malicious person started to copy everything from me and dupe my site to make his, and was taking total credit for his creation, lol. I call him a copycat, lol.

Yep, been there, experienced that, and definitely know the feeling. The unfortunate part is that not everyone has the same morals, and it often ends up that the people you help the most, end up screwing you over. Seems as time goes on, each generation comes with a tad bit less morality than the one before it. I realize that's a stereotypical statement and that not all members of the new generation lack morals, just seems they have fewer and fewer.

Don't lose heart though. There's still people out there that are genuinely grateful for your help. Probably a lot more of them exist than the ones who will smile into your face while ripping you off with both hands. It's just that you remember the bads one. I guess the sting of being cheated and ripped off knocks a big dent in the good feeling you get from helping others.
