Well, I made a username called testname and i got the confirmation email...which for one i didnt have that clicked, it shouldnt be sending a confirmation email. Well, when i got the email it was a standered email with the activation link. I clicked on it and it sent me to my site but it was very plain. No effects at all. No blocks, or modules. It just showed me my news messeges. it didn't even activate my account. I had several friends sign up and they confirmed they are seeing the same thing.

What do I do?

thanks.

Your problems have nothing to do with the theme, the theme is a cosmetic feature and has no effect on the operations of your site. When clicking a link to activate, it shouldn't take you to your main site but a page like you mentioned, so in that aspect, it is working.

Make sure that the correct radio buttons in your forums config are checked. Unless you have the no activation hack on your site, then you have a choice of 3 forms of activation in your forums:

1. admin approval
2. user activation (in which case they get sent an email to activate)
3. no one can join ( as in private sites)
