ok y'all heres the deal... my hubby killed bill gates and all windows LOL
he has installed Linux on my computer and im so lost!
Does anyone know if there is a version of Paint Shop Pro 8 for Linux
or does anyone know anything about GIMP? only thing i know about it,
is it IS a graphics program alot like PSP but thats it........i cant figure out if it uses tubes and if it does what the file name is for tubes or where to find the tubes IF it uses them.........
I so hope i didnt confuse anyone........well yeah i kinda do cause im lonely in my lost world of linux.....I've fallen and can't get up!

I had a look around and I didn't see anything to suggest that PSP 8 works on linux. You can get the requirements info from [ Register or login to view links on this board.] .

I also checked out the GIMP website, but didn't see anything about tubes. Their list of features:

didnt intend for you to do all that. i've already done it and didnt find what i wanted to know which is why i was hoping one of you knew more then i did. LOL

i do appreciate you taking the time to do my research!

as far as I know, our other designer, DS uses The Gimp but he has been called away for the Iraq conflict. I'm sure he can help you when he returns, hopefully soon.

I hear it is a better program than PSP8, very comparable and as strong as PS. have fun with it and let us know how your progressing
