hello i put this gender mod in and it works but my problem is that when you are in your profile and click show gallery to pick which avatar you want you get this message

Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 31 by reference in /home/stealths/public_html/html/includes/usercp_register.php on line 810

in the includes/usercp_register.php this is what line 810 has in it.

display_avatar_gallery($mode, $avatar_category, $user_id, $email, $current_email, $coppa, $username, $email, &$new_password, &$cur_password, $password_confirm, $icq, $aim, $msn, $yim, $website, $location, $occupation, $interests, $signature, $viewemail, $notifypm, $popup_pm, $notifyreply, $attachsig, $allowhtml, $allowbbcode, $allowsmilies, $allowviewonline, $user_style, '$gender', $user_lang, $user_timezone, $user_dateformat, $userdata['session_id'], $gender);

I see $gender in there twice you better double check the installation.

I just wanted to post here and say a BIG THANK YOU for this one. I was having the most annoying problem with my avatars.

I have the gender mod, amongst numerous others, and for some reason when I clicked on the Show Gallery button in the Forums Profile, and then chose another gallery in the drop down menu, my profile page would revert to the beginning and tell me I needed to complete all the required items. My gender would be set to none, my GMT would be blank, and the Date Format would have the GMT difference in it.

Removing the extra $gender in the usercp_register.php fixed all of it!
