Hi all.
Problem..
I cannot use the forum administration area within Nuke 7.3.
When I click on the forum link in my admin..within nuke, I get the following error:

Warning: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' conflicts with 'zlib output compression' in /..../local/home/phpnebwbie/mysite/mainfile.php on line 35

I can use the link from my menu to access the forum as a user and everything is fine.

I've installed Nuke 7.3 4 like the 5th time so far and I still am getting this error.

I've created new databases/erased them and created them again.

I've included this within my .htaccess file: php_flag output_buffering 1

I don't have access to the php.ini file because it is located within my server's files.

I found out that within my forum adm panel I can turn the gzip compression to off..but I cannot access my forum administration.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to turn off my gzip compression within my forums..where to look..which folders/files?

If I were to create a php.ini file could I? or no?

Thanx 4 your time..

P.S.
I am a nuke newbie<--searching 4 the answer.

Hi all..
I found a solution 2 my problem @ [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and thought that I would post a reply here with the code so that if others run across a problem like mine, they can use this and it might work 4 them..
Put this code within your.htaccess file

<ifModule mod_php4.c>
php_value zlib.output_compression off
</ifModule>

K 4 now..
TTYL,
