hey telli need some help....

Ok I installed both of these addons as well as the new arcade vs 3 from ported mods.

My problem is I can see al the options in the points menu, but they dont seem to be functional, for example when I choose the show arcade menu or close arcade optoins they dont seem to work I can still see the arcade and play the games

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Ok my problem before was that I hadnt upped one of my changed files. Now things work but I have another odd problem take a look at this screen shot. Just right click it an choose opein link. Notice that it now shows 2 instances of the flash arcade menu and gives a runtime error when you try to play a game.

not that it really matters It took one of my members only 2 days to write a script to call arcade.php with game id and score. So it appears anybody can have whatever score they want anyway as it is now.

Did you have the Arcade menu installed allready?

yes telli I had already had it installed. However I uninstalled everything arcade related, as it took one of my members about 2 days to write a vb script to give himself a score of 1 million + points in each game. So untill they get the arcade mod patched up a little better, I am going to wait on implementing the arcade, thank you for the wonderful addon though it will be a great feature enhancement once they get the security holes patched properly.

It's not a security flaw, its a bug

if it were a security flaw I wouldn't reccomend useing the arcade

Hopefully we can get an addon within a week to stop any outside scripts from adding the highscores to the db, I'm open to suggestions

All that the vb script does is generate a url thats all

you are right of course pk bug not security flaw. none the less it is certainly annoying I wish I knew more about it to offer you a suggestion. I know it was done using the game id and a fake score so if you were able to somehow hide the game id or do some sort of check on it that may work... I think its time I start reading up more on php lol I know java and c++ but never bothered much with scripting truth be told I enjoy engineering more than programming lol
