I have a fresh install of 7.3. Sentinel installed as well.

For some reason when a user views the forum index page they do not see the correct graphic indicating new posts are in the forums. They always see the forum index page as showing that all posts have been read.

I suspect that this is some kind of cookie problem. I can't say for sure. I have another site running phpnuke 7.2 and that forum works properly. Both sites are on the same server and have the exact same forum settings.

Could this be theme related?

are ALL your users not seeing the graphics? or is it just some? check the fiel paths for these images and make sure they are in the proper folders

then have them clear cache and cookies at least that limits the possible problems

It started working this morning. I made a change in Sentinel. I turned off the "Force URL" option. I don't know if that fixed it or not.

They're working fine for me now. I'm gonna check with the person that reported it to me and see if it's fixed for him too.

The images are in the correct directory on the server.
