Hey Guys,

I've downloaded PHP-Nuke-7.3 and phpBB-2.0.10 to my computer

I have a web host [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and it has a database and MySQL access and I'm looking to make a page with PHP as they look good although, we all had to start somewhere, I dont have a clue what to do. I have searched Google for tutorials but cannot follow them

On the pages I download the PHP Nuke 7.3 theres a flash tutorial but I couldnt even follow that.

If you could possibly help please IM me on YIM & we could arrange a time for you to talk it through if you could

As I said we all had to start somewhere, I've been reading these forums and I've seen people help eachother, not sure if these things are small are big but they've still helped resolve the problem. I wish to be able to do this one day, but at this time I'm asking for help

Ok, i've got little or no idea how to start with PHP-Nuke, but i'll try.

When you downloaded PHP-Nuke, it will probably come in a Zip, so unzip it and see if it has a readme or instructions file. This will explain what to do and how to do it. Usually this involves FTPing your files on your host and installing Nuke. Oh and i think PHP-Nuke comes with PHPBB forums, albeit a previous version, but only by a few versions.

Again don't hold me to this because i'm not entirely sure at all with Nuke.

In the PHPnuke folder all the files are Microsoft Picture Publishing 2001 so i cant really open it.

just open the files in a text editor, for example notepad
