Hacking or Site KISS up?
Is there anyone here,that can go here [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] to my site, and look at it to see if this was a hacking,or maybe something that just went wrong.I dont even know how to fix it, my backups wont work, and Ive had friends with more experiance try to help, If anyone can offer hands on help, Id greatly appreciate it. Also,What about forums?..Its like completely not there. Or, Is there any way, I can get someone in to my cpanel to help me, Im very new to this,and had alot of help from my friend, but he is also stuck at this point.If you or anyone can help, please message me,Im really freaking out about this,lol

PS: Every so often, when u leave the site,and go back, it keeps changing from one weird looking way to another even weirder looking way.It's horrible! *cries*

seems your site could be missing a file or a file was corrupted. I am not a php expert but i am sure another member of staff will be able to help you when they get one, just hang in there!!

Its looks like its not connecting to your database, check your config.php file and see if your username, p/w are correct so that it does connect, also check your database tables see if they are all still there.

Did his happen all of a sudden or after you changed something ?

ooooo,it's not doing what is was before,hmm
what it was doing before,was..it had weird garbled text inplace of all the writing and most of my theme was like in pieces all over the place,and looked a different mess everytime i went in there and my forums was BLANK for me, but showing errors for others,like this....Server Error

Please contact the administrator., Im thinking that MAYBE my host is trying to get a restore of the date i asked them to try on 8/20/04, I was hoping they could retrieve it off the hard disks.So that may be the case.I still havent gotten an email yet.
Also, Can you explain what you mean by the config.php? Re upload a fresh one and how would Icheck my pw and such to that area *shies* I know,Im new to it al,lol..sorry :(But,Im trying to learn:)

PS: The original problem, I was explaining, happened over night....I woke up,and my site was totally freaked out.

Im quite new to it aswell, and your original problem is way passed my knowledge, by config.php i mean in your root folder youll find a file called config.php open that up and starting on line 49 youll see different places to change your info such as database host your database username, p/w etc. Just open this up to check everything

Speak to the tech people where your site is hosted. Let them restart Mysql and that my help. When this happens to my site this is what I do... I have even replace that message with my own and a link to another site of mine.

db/db.php and edit the line at 88 for your own logo and link

Ok,its not doing the SQL error thing anymore, now you all can see what my sites doing, before my host does anything....to see if there is a chance someone may be able to help me fix this,without having to start all over again

LOL, I went through EVERY php file and re uploaded all the main ones i thought could be corrupt or w/e.....now I gotta get someone to help reinstall points mod, bank, lotto and the quick reply hack, those are the things im most HORRIBLE at,lol...and there's NOOOOO WAY i wanna go an mess something up after the problems Ive just had with this thing,lol.......

Thank you all for your replies....Now I have to search someone to set me up real well,and with as many security patches I can get too,lol
