I would like some help with a logo. I made a few in photoshop, but they turned out a bit crappy. The theme I use I downloaded at tomkinson.org which included a resources folder. I have the logo file and the font.

My site is [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] and would like to have "TheHuffordZone.com" in the logo.

I usually don't like to ask for help with stuff like this, but I just cant figure out how to put a border around the text that I arrange on the logo. I'm more interested in learning how to do it correctly than having it made for me, but will gladly accept any help. Thanks

what collour u want the txt

EFF2F5 is the color of the body (silver)

I wanted to put a slightly darker border around the text in sliver as well but couldnt figure out how to do that.

Was short on time so just made one for ya...lol

And for adding a colored border around your text, I used the "Stroke" blending option. Set the pixel width to 2 instead of 3. I was going to have it at 1 but it looked way too thin, so thin it was barely noticable unless I zoomed in on it.

Hey thanks for the logo - I appreciate your help! Atleast my url is in my logo now. lol Where is the stroke blending option? I am able to get the text setup where I want on the logo with the font I installed, but everything under "layer" and "filter" is greyed out.

k im learning things that are probably elementary to photoshop as I go...but i converted the image to rgb and now those fields aren't greyed out..

Glad you like it. I was just heading off to sleep..so will try to explain best I can.

Once you have your text typed in...then look to the right side where the steps are listed and right click on the text layer..that will allow you to choose "blending options", and then inside there you will see the "stroke" option also.

I hope I explained that correctly, if not please somebody correct me as my medicine is hitting me full force and even tough typing right now..lmao

You can also click the little "F" at the bottom of the layers pallette and choose Stroke from there. Just make sure the layer you want to apply the stroke to is the active layer before you click the "f" button.
