I dunno, I feel really bad - I took this sig and resized it and then it lost it's luster, it's vivaciousness

I would like to be able to restore it to it's original snazzy self and yet I cannot seem to be able too (unless it is a bmp file) - grrrr.

I have it saved on my puter as a psp file in its original size. It was originally a jpg file. Now I feel like I have ruined it! Refer to this post [ Register or login to view links on this board.] to see what I mean.

How do I redeem myself and fix it so it regains it original shine & luster in it's jpg format?

Hello, did you want this converted back as a jpg?...sorry it's gettin late and my eyes are gettin fuzzy. I converted the image to both a jpg and a png .

Echo - Thanks much for the reply; the image is actually to give back to anzaccookies in the other post; I just wanted to resize her sig for the forums and then I went and blew it up!! Thanks for the re-do but I am more interested in knowing how were you able to resave it with the same as the original pizazz since it was a jpg file.

Your welcome tuffy, and all I did was right click the properties of the image (in that link you provided) then I copied and pasted the url into the browser address bar. That gave me the jpg, for the png extension I just right clicked the image and choose "save picture as..." and it saved as a bmp...then I converted that to a png.

So did you notice the same thing that I did?

The vivid orange color kind of blanded away as a jpg but not as a png or bmp. So I guess that there is no way around that?! So here is my png file - nice and bright!

Can we display png sigs in our forum? And will everybody be able to see it? Details, details. Always in the details.

Yes you can use png in the forums, they're bigger in size though compared to gif or jpg. I am by far no expert here, the sigs and images I make are usually miiles away from the first protypes I make.
