ok.... im very well advanced in html and a little bit in flash. i want to make my own phpnuke 7.0 theme.
i know there are convertors out there like on this site, to convert html to php but ...what do you do with it when you have the code lol.....i also dont want the theme editors out there...i want to do it from scratch...
lets say i have my main page in html but want it to be my main page in phpnuke....how would i do that?

First of all...the main page in html could happen...it really shouldnt be that way but i know of some sites that use HTML as the main page. Any way, what you need is a base...you need to get very familiar with an imageing program such as photoshop or mx flash. You need to also get very familiar with CSS, because all Nuke sites use it.

After you know it, you need to know a little about PHP and how it works. Read the PHP-Nuke manual...I learned half of what I know about php from that. Try google, too.

All you need to know to make a decent theme is CSS, and links in php. Thats really it. Any more questions, or if you want to talk more about PHP and CSS...i might be able to help. IM me using the links below my signature.
