I've just downloaded the flash mp3 player from this site, I have the html, and I put it on my site, but I can't see it. It's a blank square. Could any1 help. If you're wondering, I didn't proceed when it said find the file the player was in because Microsoft could not find the server, or whatever, because I didn't know what that meantt. I just copied the code. Is that okay? Please reply.

Also, I know I've been posting a lot. but I really need music for my site. Man, this is frusturating.

icon_rolleyes.gif Ah, my dear, patience is a virtue!

A link to your site may help as we don't know what we are dealing with here!

In the meantime, have you done these steps:

1- Upload the file in the mp3zip called "FNMINImp3.swf" to your web server.

2- Upload your mp3 files to your web server and note the web address that they are located in ie: "http://your-server/your-mp3file-.mp3".

3- Right Click with your mouse the "playlist.xml" file and choose the option to view with notepad.exe

4- Now that you have the notepad open with the playlist file staring at you, change the "<title>" attributes to the title of the song you want to appear and change the "<file>" attribute to the web location of your mp3 song. Just be careful that what the name of the file is matches exactly to what you type in to your playlist or naturally the player won't be able to find the file to play. Save this playlist.xml file and upload it to your web server where you now have your FINMINImp3.swf file and your mp3 song files.

5- Copy and Paste the code for the player into your page wherever you wish your mp3 player to appear (left side, in main in a table, etc).

That should do it for you!
Any additional assistance you should need, come on back (but with patience!); There are lots of peeps here to help! icon_wink.gif

In notepad, change 'Files of Type' from .txt to All Files, you'll be able to open the XML file then.

Make sure that the swf is where its supposed to be. According to your code it should be in the same folder as your main page.
