I've had one admin tell me I'd do better using phpBB forum than phpNuke forum. He said the coding for Nuke is inferior. With the performance of my forum I'm inclined to agree, but I'm no expert so I figured I'd ask here, and see if I ever get any response. I guess I can't loose if I try given the way nuke is running for me... ANyone?

Nuke forums are generally PHPbb ported over to work with Nuke. Stand alone phpbb forums can offer a more stable environment however, you lose the content system when you get rid of Nuke. It just all depends on what you feel it is you need for your site, a more stable forum system or the availablity of having forums and a CMS at the same time.

Your forum problems cna be due to several reasons and not due to Nuke at all.

Thanks for your reply. I do appreciate it. I'm looking at all alternatives and fixes. I've had some people try to help me on Nuke Cops bu his code caused errors and I had to go back to my backed up files. So far nothing has worked. I polled my users about what they think I should do, and so far they tell me to continue looking for a fix rather than to abandon months of developed data. Thank you.

I'm inclined to agree with them. When you say th eproblem arises when they hit "submit", do you mean after they post a reply or a new post in your forums? That's the only time the site goes slow?
