Hey guys I just started making flash sigs for some of our members,but now I've come across one that will not stop looping heres the code I'm using

[flash width=390 height=140]http://www.overclocking-madness.com/images/sigs/IGsig.swf[/flash]

The first thing that springs to mind is to put a Stop action at the last frame.

Nope, not in the embed code, in the Flash movie itself. Let's say the movie is 500 frames long. Assuming you have no movie clips or anything going on, just add a Stop action at the final frame. That will make the swf stop playing at that point.

I kinda understand what your saying now,but I'm using coffeecup firestarter,is there a way to do it with this?

I've never used Firestarter. I had a quick look at the tutorial, and found this:

Stop actions are used to stop the movie in it's tracks. The only way the movie will restart is through user interaction. (i.e. Clicking on a link that starts the movie again, or jumps to another frame in the movie)

Click Movie > Add Action > Add Stop Movie Action.

That should do the trick. Add the stop action on the last frame of the animation.

Thanks redhot_2oo3, I was doing it with the banner part of the proggy, but when I did it as a movie and followed your advice it worked,took me a while though
