I am running PHP-Nuke 7.4
I installed a new module, but when I try to access it it comes up with

Sorry, You can't access this file directly...

I have changed the permissions to 777 so you should be abble to access it.

CHMOD'in will have nothing to do with it,

are you going to it using modules.php?name=Module name (folder) ?

I have a few of these modules too and for me its simply an admin account can't use the file you have to be logged in as the GOD admin,

So try that icon_rolleyes.gif
