Is this possible? There are a few cool java scripts that I really like, and I would like to put them into blocks to add to my site. But when I added the script, I got a error. If it is possible to add a java script to a block, how would I go about doing this?

I use the "Customizable Block" from: [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] for my java scripts. (Registration required)

Yikes...I goofed. I was reading a post by Tellli at the time of your reply....my bad icon_sad.gif

But on a good note, that block you gave me a link to worked like a charm. icon_smile.gif

I don't get it. There is nothing to this block.

<?php
############
######  monkeyMan customizable block for PHP-Nuke
######  (May. 31, 2004) Version 1.1
######  Created by Marvin.P
######  http://monkeymanv2.com
############

if (eregi("block-Custom_Javascript.php", $PHP_SELF)) {
Header("Location: index.php");
die();
}
##Code goes in gap!
$content = '<center>

</center>';
?>

Where is the javascript?

It's supposed to be blank. You add whatever java sript that you want to use, to the block. Use notepad, word, etc...and paste it in, then upload it to your site. It's in the "readme" file.

So you create your own javascript to add to an empty block that the author named block-Custom_Javascript.php

Anybody else see the humor in this.

If I could write javascript I wouldn't be searching for a javascript block.

Anybody use the PHP layersmenu for creating a block to use? The demo seems exactly what I need but the pdf manual seems very convoluted. Where have all the simple instructions gone. icon_smile.gif

It's empty for a reason. How in the world would the creator know which of the thousands upon thousands of java scripts one person would want? That's why it's called "custom".
