I recently ran the nuke 6.8 to 7.4 upgrade.

It went smoothly but after the upgrade. My admin control panel displays
only the Logout Icon, Who's on line info, Module Loaded in the Homepage: News [ Change ] link.

I can access the modules thru the [Change] link; But, all other admin graphics/icons are missing. Others areas of admin control can be accessed only if I directly enter the url in the address bar. At that point all function seems normal.

However, when I upload a new block to my site and try to set it up and activate it. Nothing happens.

I could use some advice on how to recover the graphics on the admin page and how to activate the blocks.

try reuploading the files, it could have been corrupted during the ftp upload, especially the admin.php file.

Also, make sure the sql tables have been upgraded as well.The 7.4 upgrade removes radminsection and radminephem fields from the database, an admin.php lower than 7.4 will query those fields in the admin>preferences>graphic function, the query will fail and the administration section will be almost empty.
