Ive been writing html and java for about 15 years and flash for a few and figured id like a change so i started my first phpnuke site. i have to say im semi lost. so i had some general questions that i searched and couldnt find answers to even tho im sure they have been asked. first im not understanding the difference between a block and a module. they appear to be able to do the same things to me. second question is when i have main content that i want down the center of the page do i make a block and put it in the center to show my content? i tried making a page under content but it just shows it in a clickable title and its not appearing in the center of my main page. but have to click content to get it. also when i make my pages im noticing that i cant use any javascript or dynamic html in it or it says html type not allowed. being as thats the only lanquages i know i got major problems:) is there anyway to fill the center section of main page with something that allows tables and java and html? i found it only allows me to use basic tags like br,b,img src,div align, etc. is this where blocks come in to play? i tried taking my html and converting to php and pasting in there but that dont work:) also tried pasting html and java and converting to block which dont work as well:) any suggestions appreciated. hopefully i can figure this out or ill have to go back to html site. i thought nuke was suppose to make it easy for beginners lol i thought it may be too ez that i wouldnt enjoy but has me stumped. ok guess thats enough questions to get me going in right direction:)

Have you read the manual yet? [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

I suggest reading it and then come back with questions, it's a good manual that anwsers a lot of questions whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned Nuke Vet. icon_wink.gif
