ok heres my problem. i have web space and a domain name and got site set up and everythings fine except one thing. i cant go there but maybe once a day for like an hour. any other time i get page not found and when try to connect via ftp cant connect either. i know everything is set up right and name servers are correct and heres the thing, when i get page not found i call my friends in st louis and new york and have them try to go there after deleting their temp internet files and they always say it seems to work fine for them but for me says page not found. i cant even work on site this driving me nuts. so this has to be my isp blocking me from going there or something right? need suggestions please. when i try neotrace pro to trace it says looking up ip then says domain name couldnt be resolved. but have conference on the phone with other people at same time and they going there no prob.

if you have a firewall, you may have to configure your firewall to allow access to the site, different firewalls vary so don't know what steps to give you if your firewall is in fact the case.

i just ran a server monitor program for last 8 hours and it said invalid host till exactly 2 am then it said success host found then it said success host found every 15 min till exactly 3 am then it said host not found , cant be my firewall or it wouldnt work a few hours a day for me and also im only using xp built in one and disabled it and it makes no difference. has to be something blocking me on either web space server or my isp. just not sure how to find out which.

It's a possibility that whoever is hosting the site doesn't have it set up properly. It may be a DNS issue, or even a bandwidth limitation. To eliminate any cacheing issues with your IPS, try accessing the site via a proxy such as [ Register or login to view links on this board.]

the server assures me that i have unlimited bandwidth so cant be that but now its working since i emailed him so dont know whats up. if goes down for me gonna try that anonymous surf thing you recommended , thanks
