Yes, I do.

Warning: main(modules/Forums/viewtopic.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/adr/public_html/home/modules.php on line 43

means that you need to set your permissions so that the world can read that particular file.

The reason you are getting this:

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'modules/Forums/viewtopic.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/adr/public_html/home/modules.php on line 43
Sorry, such file doesn't exist...
is because since you don't have permission it is saying it doesn't exist.

To fix these warnings, you need to make sure your permissions are set to "644" for that particular file, and if you get this warning again, change that file to 644 as well.

wolf - thank you for your help.

At the risk of sounding like a further dumbass.....how do I change the permissions to 644?

It depends what hosting you are using. Are you using cPanel? It's easy thru cPanel, but any other host im not sure about. If your using codezhost, ask Telli or whoever has it can tell you.

If your on cPanel, just simply click on the file name and you have a menu on the upper right. Look down that menu and you will see Change Permissions. Click those check-boxes until you have the desired 644.

yes, I am using cPanel. That sounds easy enough, I think even I can figure it out.

Thanks again for your help wolf!
