Is there a way to transfer all of your mysql information from one webhost to another so your users don't have to sign up again? and you don't lose all of your forum posts? If so, can someone please explaine how icon_smile.gif

back up you database. You will get a file that ends in sql Make sure you selected the backup the whole database and if using phpmyadmin check the option to include drop statements.

Then with you new host install phpnuke and goto phpmyadmin and import the sql file that you backed up. Since you included the drop statements it will drop you new installed tables and import all your old data.

What you could also do if you have lots of mods installed is, back up your files as well then after you have installed a clean version of nuke on the new site upload the back up from you old site and overwrite the clean version. That way you have your old data and files.

At the moment I'm still looking around, I'm leaning more towards [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] because they give you a 5 GB bandwith limit per DAY and they give you 2 GIG's space 10 FTP Users 650 E-Mail addresses and a bunch more for like 100 bux a year, with 1 year free domain, and 2 months free. icon_smile.gif
